Habitat was established in 1999 and released in the spring of 2000, the same year as Alien Workshops landmark video "photosynthesis". Habitat's segment in "photosynthesis" was the brands first video part with the entire team and setting the stage for "mosaic" and "inhabitants". "Origin" is a visual retrospective of the past decade, showcasing the best of this 10 year period, along with new length video parts from Silas Baxter-Neal, Austyn Gillette, Guru Khalsa, Steve Durrante, Daryl Angel and many more substancial amounts of footy from the rest of the Habitat team.
